Mission Save the Monarchs

Join us for a very special Monarch Conservation Experience at Pixie Moss Meadows. This educational workshop is near and dear to our hearts, and we cannot wait to share it with you. Mission Save the Monarchs! In 2017, I completed a Monarch Stewardship program through the National Wildlife Federation. I have always been fascinated by these magnificent, magical creatures. When I learned that the Eastern monarch population has declined dramatically over the past two decades, I knew I wanted to do something to help.

For years, every early summer, my children and I have raised a small colony of monarch larvae at home. We have had the joy of watching their incredible life cycle unfold before releasing them into our butterfly garden once flowers are blooming and nectar is abundant. Supporting pollinators like monarchs is crucial to our environment, and this year we want you to be part of it.

The Monarch Stewardship Workshop

Each participant will receive:

A ventilated butterfly enclosure

Live certified monarch larvae

Fresh milkweed for feeding

Milkweed and wildflower seed packets

A limited edition Mission Save the Monarchs Pixie Moss Meadows T shirt

This workshop is not about building a terrarium. It is about stewardship. It is about education. It is about playing a small but meaningful role in conservation.

Light refreshments will be provided, and you will be surrounded by the magical atmosphere of Pixie Moss Meadows.
