About the event
The story begins in ancient Syria, with a goddess named Atargatis. Heartbroken after accidentally causing the death of her mortal love, she leapt into a lake, hoping to transform into a fish and escape her sorrow. Instead, her divine beauty turned her into the first mermaid—a radiant creature born from love and loss.
Now, Mermaid’s Cove invites you to bring this tale to life and create a little magic of your own. This isn’t your average succulent workshop—it’s a tropical luau experience! Imagine designing your own Mermaid Cove Succulent Garden, complete with live succulents, moss, gravel, and magical seashell planters, all while basking in the spirit of an island escape.
Tickets are $55 per gardener and include a spot at our tropical luau celebration, a guided succulent workshop led by Jen, all the materials to craft your garden, a mermaid companion to take home, tropical treats, and an atmosphere brimming with magic and fun. You’ll also receive a care guide to keep your succulent masterpiece thriving long after the event.
