Jumping spider cottage workshop

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found yourself fascinated by these incredible little arachnids. From their playful personalities, big curious eyes, and unique jumping abilities to their tiny “dancing” movements, it’s easy to see why so many people fall in love with jumping spiders.

During this special featured workshop, you’ll design and create a beautiful miniature cottage habitat complete with live plants, moss, decorative furnishings, and all the special details needed to create a cozy world for your new companion. Along the way, we’ll explore fun facts about jumping spiders, learn about their amazing traits and behaviors, and discuss proper care to help your new little friend thrive.

Your workshop experience includes:

• Adoption of one live jumping spider

• Acrylic terrarium enclosure

• Live plants and moss

• Substrates and habitat materials

• Decorative furnishings and cottage accessories

• Step-by-step guided instruction with Jen

• Jumping spider care information

• Light refreshments to enjoy while you create

Tickets are $105 per gardener.

Additional miniature décor, specialty accessories, and optional add-ons will be available during the workshop for those who wish to further customize their spider’s new cottage home.

This workshop is recommended for older children, teens, and adults due to the detailed nature of the project. Younger participants are welcome with the assistance of a parent or guardian.
